This is a community alert message from the Surry County 911 Communications Center. Please be advised that on Wednesday, December 13th we will be changing the short code (number) from which you receive SMS text message and Weather Warning messages, to 76993. This new number should be programmed into your mobile devices to ensure awareness for future CodeRED alerts.
